Alta Lake

Last Thursday the kids and I headed out to Alta Lake with my parents. Tadj and my brother Josh came up Friday. This is our annual golf vacation with long-time family friends. On the way there we made a stop at Lake Entiat so my dad could get in some skiing since Alta Lake is a bit too small for this.

And then something happened the next day that has never happened in all of our years at Alta Lake...it rained! Not only did it rain, there was thunder and lightning. Activities like golfing and water skiing are generally not good things to do when there is lightning! We managed to keep busy though.

On Saturday the skies were clear and we were able to enjoy the fun water activities! Here are Jennifer, Kendall, Cady, and Spencer on the inner tube.

Blue Angels

On Friday we went to Coulon park with my mom and grandma Jean to grab a bite to eat at Ivars and try to catch a glimpse of the Blue Angels. We actually got a pretty good show. In Hayden's words: "That WAS Awesome!"
