THE Haircut

Kendall was growing her beautiful blond hair for Locks of Love.  The longer it got, the more difficult it was to manage and the daily battle of brushing her hair was getting to be too much.  She finally had enough for the required 10 inches so we took her to my hair dresser.  When Kendall was asked how she wanted her hair she said, "I want it just like my mom's!"  So cute.  The process in pictures:

Eight is GREAT!

Hayden wanted a Lego Universe Party for his 8th birthday.  The only problem is that I don't know enough about Lego Universe to create an entire birthday with that theme.  So I just focused on Legos.  I actually love legos myself so this was a fun party to plan.

One of the highlights was t-shirts for the kids.  This is a great and relatively inexpensive "party favor" for the kids but Tadj really wanted to let the kids decide which minifigure they wanted on their shirt.  So I spent the entire party making these t-shirts.  Never again!  If I *were* to do something like this again I would choose the minifigure and make the shirts ahead of time.
