Kindergarten assessment gone wrong

Last Tuesday night we went to Hayden's Kindergarten orientation. It was just me and the kids since Tadj was in California for the day on business. When we walked in the door we got a big packet of information and a number. At the beginning of the presentation we listened to the principal speak briefly then the teachers talked about school supplies, appropriate backpacks, and other things we need to know. Then I found out they were doing assessments of each child. When our number was called, Hayden and I took a seat with one of the Kindergarten teachers. I was asked to fill out a form with information on his previous schools while she asked Hayden all sorts of questions like how to spell and write his name, identify shapes and colors, the alphabet, count, etc. He knew all the right answers! And then they asked him to draw a picture of himself. He drew this great stick figure which even included fingers. The teacher then asked him. "Ok, are you sure this is you? Is there anything else you want to add?" Hayden then replies, "Oh...I need a penis." He then proceeded to draw a little line straight down, right between the legs. I was in shock and didn't even know how to respond to what he just drew. The teacher simply said, "Yep, that's you!"
